Bio
Alice Chan is a world famous cross media illustrator and designer. Since
she launched her own brand "ASTERIA" and her website, www.asterialand.com,
Alice has successfully established and impressed the world with her
unique style and ideas. Her current clients are from Italy, Japan, USA,
France, England, Germany, Finland, Taiwan, China and Hong Kong.
Alice has been invited to contribute in many large scale creative projects
for key global brands like Fendi, Sportmax (Max Mara), Anna Sui, Goessele,
Levi's, Colette, Canon, MTV, DoCoMo, Coca Cola, the 2008 Olympic games,
Galeries Lafayette, etc, drawing the world's attention to this specially
gifted illustrator.
As her popularity grows rapidly, Alice is always invited to participate
in local and worldwide exhibitions. She and her works have also been
widely covered in newspapers, magazines and TV interviews. Alice is
like a sparkling star, shining and brightening up the world with her
inimitable and distinctive style.

What are your sketchel designs about?
They are some of my hand drawn paintings in the Asteria collection.
My own brand “ASTERIA” means a star-shaped shining diamond.
Asteria’s, the main character, eye lashes are 360 degrees, making
her eyes look like a sparkling star. Star means warmth, hope and wishes.
Everyone must have their own dreams and wishes. I hope people who see
my work will feel warm, happy and their wishes, one day will come true.
I want to create something that would represent the lively and fresh
style of the modern girl. The girl has a mischievous twinkle in her
eye. My unique style is to create fairytale imagery that can be seen
throughout my work. It mixes fantasy, glamour and sensuous "baby-doll"
styles. Asteria likes wearing trendy clothes and fashionable accessories.
My sketchel designs were selected to be Pictoplasma's 2005 calendar
cover design and the other two were used for the world famous brand,
Anna Sui's, advertising and clothing designs.
