Artist Bio
Sydney artist Ben Frost is most well known for his 'collage' style of dynamic Pop Art paintings. Inspired by techniques and concepts from diverse areas such as graffiti, photo-real painting and sign-writing, his often large scale works are complex mash-ups of popular culture that have been, "diced, sliced and warmed over the burning embers of the 20th century".
Ben has exhibited at galleries such as the Sydney MCA, 798 Space in Beijing, The Arm in New York, White Walls in San Francisco, Truman Brewery in London, Art London and Studio Apart in Amsterdam.
In 2007 he co-founded Stupidkrap.com, an online print store that represents some of Australia's best emerging artists.
