Artist Bio
Since 1994 Australian artist Nathan Jurevicius has worked as a freelance illustrator and artist with many international companies and galleries.
His most acclaimed project to date is Scarygirl, a psychedelic, dream-like composition of heartfelt stories and reinterpreted folklore based around a cute but slightly odd little girl and her giant octopus guardian.
Since its creation in 2001 the concept has developed a dedicated underground following of fans throughout the globe through its numerous limited edition vinyl toys, designer products and traveling shows.
The property is now in early development as an animated feature film, online game, and graphic novel.
Currently Nathan resides in Toronto, Canada (but wishes he was in Rhode Island more often).

What are your sketchel designs about?
They are based on silhouettes of Scarygirl characters. Jeremy was actually involved in putting my sketchel together.
